Catalog description

The student selects an area of nursing practice to illustrate their transition to baccalaureate-level nursing. Through the application of leadership skills, evidence-based practice, collaborative teamwork, and quality improvement methodologies, the student will conceptualize, execute, evaluate, and disseminate a project aimed at enhancing patient or population outcomes. Special emphasis is placed on fostering professional growth, acknowledging one's role in advancing healthcare, and engaging in reflective practice to seamlessly integrate the essential competencies required to influence patient care and healthcare systems positively. The culmination of this endeavor will be the creation of an ePortfolio, serving as a comprehensive reflection of the student's journey and development as a baccalaureate-prepared nurse.
