Catalog description

This course examines the multifaceted influences on health across individuals, families, communities, and populations, integrating social determinants, genetics/genomics, culture, ethnicity, race, spirituality, and environment. Students will evaluate the impact of community health resources and public policy on population health outcomes, analyze health-related resources within communities, and apply disease prevention, health promotion, and population-focused interventions.
