Catalog description

Perioperative Clinical Elective is a clinically focused course designed to allow students additional clinical experience in the perioperative setting. The student will attend clinical with an assigned RN staff preceptor. The course emphasizes professional behaviors, communication, assessment, clinical decision making, caring interventions, teaching and learning, collaboration, and managing care for patients in the perioperative setting.
