Catalog description

An introduction to neurodiagnostic technology based on national professional competencies, professional standards of practice and associated clinical theories. This course provides an overview of electroencephalography, including basic terminology, procedures, instrumentation, normal brain functioning, and patient safety and documentation. Includes peer-to-peer simulated laboratory experiences focused on proper electrode placement and basic recording techniques. Co-requisite: NDT 102.
