Catalog description

This course examines the different leadership styles and strategies to help provide direction, implement plans, and motivate healthcare professionals in any professional practice environment. This course will prepare students to develop and practice leadership skills through understanding personal leadership styles, leadership theory and communication theory, exploring personality types, communication styles, and leadership styles, and networking and developing mentoring relationships in a healthcare environment.
