Catalog description

This course explores the critical aspects of interprofessional collaborative practice and patient-centered care, emphasizing frameworks, competencies, and strategies essential for effective teamwork in diverse healthcare settings. Students will analyze tools, team dynamics, values, ethics, roles, responsibilities, communication strategies, and collaborative practices necessary for successful collaboration. The course will also address conflict management in complex healthcare environments and apply teamwork strategies to enhance group relational decision-making through practical team projects.
