Catalog description
Special topics are intensive workshops designed to introduce students to professional skills and vocabulary relevant to careers in Deaf Studies. Taught by experienced practitioners from working in Deaf Studies related fields, the courses allow participants to translate theory into practice and gain the competencies sought by today's employers. Students need to take a total of six (6) credit hours of special topics courses; and cannot repeat special topics (meaning one cannot take the same special topic six times)
