Catalog description

This course examines the impact of short-term mission trips on both the participants and the communities they aim to serve. The root causes of poverty, dependency, and disempowerment will be reviewed to gain understanding and how to build relationships with community members by listening to the community’s needs and solutions. Students will learn how to lead by prioritizing the local organizations initiatives working toward sustainable change.
