Catalog description

The Public Health Internship provides students with a structured, practical experience in a professional public health setting. Students will apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their coursework in real-world environments, including local, state, national, or international health organizations, governmental agencies, or community-based programs. This hands-on experience is designed to enhance students' professional development and career readiness in public health practice, policy, education, or research. The internship requires at least 120-240 supervised hours, reflective assignments, and a final presentation or report summarizing the experience.
