Catalog description

A study of the fundamental elements of music – melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre, texture, dynamics, and form – and their interaction through both aural and visual analysis. The study of chords includes emphasis on types of primary triads, inversions, and voice-leading principles. Notation software is introduced.
