This course covers an introduction to RFID and sensor design, transducers, and sensor performance characteristics. Additional topics include the difference between barcode technology and RFID technology with a deep dive into RFID operations, systems, and tags. A study of energy harvesting circuits, readers, antennas, communication methodologies, RFID Standards, and RFID generations.
