Catalog description

In this course students will reflect on their teaching experiences in order to identify strengths and areas for improvement in their practice, refining their skills and abilities through analysis and collaboration. They will also develop an understanding of the professional skills and responsibilities of an educator, the job market for educators, and prepare for seeking employment in the field of education. Focus will be on meeting requirements to receive North Carolina Licensure in Elementary Education. Co-requisite: ED 421 Teaching Practicum
