Clinical Internship II

Catalog description

This student teaching experience requires a full semester placed full-time in an elementary classroom under the supervision of a licensed teacher with at least 3 years of experience. Student teachers will gradually take on teaching responsibilities, culminating in at least 4 weeks of full-time teaching. Student teachers will be observed regularly by the university supervisor and evaluated by the mentor teacher. This course is designed for the student seeking North Carolina licensure in Elementary Education. Co-requisite: ED 430 Clinical Internship Seminar.
