This graduate-level course offers students a scholarly introduction to theories of gender and sexuality. In this class, we will use intersectional approaches to consider gender theories, feminist theory, masculinity studies, queer theory and scholarly discussions of sexuality. Readings will include Kimberl and #233; Crenshaw, bell hooks, Judith Butler, Raewyn Connell, Sara Ahmed, Eve Sedgewick, and Jasbir Puar, among others.
