This course will study methods of criticism in the discipline, from the scholarly article to the literary interview. Where did they come from? And what kinds of writing do you prefer or want to develop yourself: The course will also focus on a research project of your own. For instance, to find out the history of the discipline, you could interview people in a program like ours, or a well-known critic.
