Catalog description

This semester will begin with a review of the fundamentals of screenwriting, including character development, scene construction, dialogue, and story structure. Student work will include exercises that encourage writers to take creative risks with genre, tone, character, and structure. We will work on three major project in the c ourse. The first is a 5-minute film, the second is an adaptation from another genre/source, and the final project will be up to the student and #8212; either a full-length or a 15 minutes script. Prerequisite: 76-269 Min. grade B
