Introduction to Computational Humanities is full-semester, team-taught course designed to introduce students to the central questions, methods, and possibilities of the computational humanities. Organized into a series of immersive two-week modules, the course brings students into direct engagement with faculty experts working at the forefront of the field. Topics may include AI and the humanities, network analysis, natural language processing, virtual reality, maps as data, and computational models of cultural change. By combining methodological breadth with hands-on exploration, the course invites students to experiment with diverse approaches to studying culture through data, computation, and critical interpretation. Course components are designed to build intellectual community, encouraging collaboration, shared inquiry, and the development of a common foundation for advanced study in the computational humanities. Prerequisites: 76-101 or 76-102 or ( 76-106 and 76-107 ) or ( 76-108 and 76-106 ) or ( 76-108 and 76-107 )
