Catalog description

This undergraduate research course is designed to give students a venue to develop skills for interdisciplinary research in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. The purpose of this undergraduate research capstone is to: 1) Create a sense of community for students pursuing research in interdisciplinary Environmental and Sustainability Studies. 2) Provide guidance for student research projects in interdisciplinary Environmental and Sustainability Studies. As part of this course, students will set, define, and meet milestones for an undergraduate-level interdisciplinary research project in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. By meeting and presenting milestones and end-of-session products to peers and faculty, students will understand more about their own disciplinary and interdisciplinary engagements with Environmental and Sustainability Studies, and also learn to articulate their unique strengths in an interdisciplinary group setting. Prerequisite: 66-236
