Catalog description
Technical Character Animation is a deep dive into the fundamental concepts of character animation and "The Illusion of Life." This course will focus on building a foundation of body mechanics that demonstrates weight, balance, and authenticity. Through a series of strategically designed modules, students will gain a command of the 12 principles of animation, beginning with a ball bounce to more advanced block, spline, and polish workflows. This course is designed to expose students to the art of movement as it is done by animators in the FX, film, and game industries. Course Website: http://tcacmu.weebly.com/
