Catalog description
This course is designed for students who have not traditionally worked with music technology, after completing the prerequisite course, Introduction to Music Technology. This class provides a continuation of creating and designing sound with digital tools. In the first two units, students explore software platforms for sequencing, synthesis, and audio processing. The final unit focuses on Max/MSP, where students apply their skills to design electronic instruments for live performance and accompaniment. Prerequisite: 57-101
