Acting I for the Singer

Catalog description

This course is devoted to freeing the actor's imagination, creativity, and impulse while also laying down the foundation of the acting process through focus on improvisation, movement, and vocal techniques, and monologue work. Students will be introduced to various warm-ups, The Viewpoints, Laban, Michael Chekov's Technique, Stanislavsky's action/objective work, Stanislavsky's Active Analysis, and more to support their work as vocal performance artists.
