Costume Crafts: Leather Explorations

Catalog description
This course will explore the many ways that real leather is used in the realm of costume crafts. We will examine footwear, sword belts, armor and masks. We will deal with proper coloring, decoration, stitching and finishing techniques. Students will leave empowered with vocabulary, basic skills and project work exploring a variety of leather types and manipulation techniques.
