Catalog description

Build an immersive horror experience in this advanced, hands-on course in theatrical design, interactive technology, and storytelling. Students will collaborate, conceptualize, design, and construct a fully realized immersive experience, integrating sound, lighting, projection, show networking, and sensor-based interactivity. This course is ideal for advanced students in theatrical design, as well as those interested in experience design, storytelling, and interaction design. Students well suited for this class will be equipped with some but not all of the following skills: show networking, physical computing such as raspberry pi and arduinos, projection design, sound design, lighting design, world-building for games and experiences and production management.
