Catalog description
In this mini students explore a variety of three-dimensional media techniques as they learn to build models for the Scenic Designer. Students will investigate many aspects of model-making, from basic structural ideas to complex organic and architectural forms, furniture, and advanced techniques such as scale painting, soldering and carving. Through these methods, students will develop a better understanding of space and objects in space in the theatre. Prerequisite: 54-231
