Catalog description

This sophomore level course is designed to provide an intermediate level of training in the area of clothing construction. Students will learn how to read patterns, prepare and cut fabric appropriately for construction purposes, and complete a garment employing necessary finishing techniques. Additionally, students will be exposed to the rudimentary skills necessary for basic flat patterning and begin the process of project time management and comprehension of product value. Prerequisites: 54-231 and 54-232
