Catalog description

An intensive introduction to directing with a camera in narrative film and episodic television for third year undergraduate directing and dramaturgy students. Students learn how to prepare for a camera shoot including breaking down a script, camera terminology, shot types and what can be accomplished, how to make a shot lists, visual style and how to express it. Students learn shot progression in the scene and point-of-view.
