Production Prep: Properties Shop

Catalog description

This course prepares student scenic designers for working with the prop shop and working as a prop manager on production. Students will observe how to interface with our CMU prop shop and warehouse. Connected specifically to a FG Directed and MFA Shows, students will sign up for a 5-week period, 4-weeks prior to tech and 1-week during tech, with 4 hours required per week. Additionally, students are required to attend first day of technical rehearsal. Students are responsible to read all the rehearsal reports for their assigned shows and follow the discussion on props in particular.
