History of Clothing II

Catalog description

We will look at the progression of the shapes and forms that aesthetically define the clothing of each period, while also exploring the broader relationship of costume to culture and society throughout history. The course will comprise visual presentations of the art, design and architecture of each period, especially pertaining to representations of clothing.
