Quantum Mechanics II

Catalog description

This course focuses on qualitative and approximation methods in quantum mechanics, including time-independent and time-dependent perturbation theory, scattering and semiclassical methods. Applications are made to atomic, molecular and solid matter. Systems of identical particles are treated including many electron atoms and the Fermi gas.
