Catalog description
This is the second half of a two-semester calculus-based introductory physics sequence for engineering and physics students. Basic principles of electromagnetism are developed. Topics include electric charge and electric field, Gauss's law, electric potential, capacitance, direct-current circuits, magnetic forces and fields, Ampere's Law, electromagnetic induction, Faraday's Law, as well as mechanical and electromagnetic waves. This course has a co-requisite of 21-122 . Prerequisites: ( 33-141 and 21-120 ) or ( 21-120 and 33-121 ) or ( 21-120 and 33-151 )
