Concepts in Artificial Intelligence

Catalog description

The course will introduce students to the main foundational concepts and techniques used in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including representation, heuristic search, probabilistic reasoning, decision making, and machine learning. Concepts will be grounded in a range of real-world applications in which AI is currently used. Students will be introduced to ethical issues surrounding AI, as well as the potential future of a world in which AI is commonplace. Programming and written assignments will enable students to get a feel for how to implement and use AI techniques. Prerequisites: 15-122 or 15-112 Course Website: https://canvas.cmu.edu/courses/8266
