Catalog description

This course presents the fundamentals of heat and mass transfer, including steady-state and transient heat conduction and molecular diffusion, convection of heat and mass, and thermal radiation, with application to heat and mass transfer processes. Development of dimensionless quantities for engineering analysis is emphasized. Prerequisites: 06-261 and ( 21-260 or 06-262 ) and ( 33-152 or 33-142 or 33-122 )
