Catalog description

Each semester, all Department of Biological Sciences graduate students are required to register for and attend the weekly departmental Research Seminar ( 03-750 ; 1 unit). PhD students are strongly urged to meet the speakers to broaden their knowledge of cutting-edge biological science, to discuss career paths and strategies and to make useful contacts; the faculty host can arrange group meetings for interested students. This course is only for PhD Students.
