Catalog description

This course covers the skills necessary to live and work safely aboard oceangoing research vessels. Emphasis is placed on the skills necessary for the safe operation of biological sampling equipment. Upon completion, students should be able to safely live and work aboard an oceanographic research vessel conducting offshore scientific operations.
