An examination of current topics related to the foundational theories, basic principles and major issues associated with the growth and development in human behavior, with emphasis on developmental systems theory and socio-cultural context. Although developmental psychology encompasses the lifespan, primary focus will be on the child, adolescent, and late adulthood periods. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 222 and PSYC 260 with a C or better.
