Catalog description

This comprehensive laboratory course introduces students to the need for laboratory skills to be accurate and precise as they create solutions of known concentration and makedilutions. The students will create buffers and perform acid base titrations. Students willoperate UV and AES spectroscopic instrumentation typically found in pharmaceutical,chemical, and biotechnical research and analytical facilities. 326 is a zero credit pre-lab to the 1 credit hour 326L lab course. Corequisite(s): PSCR 325 When Offered: Every Fall
