Catalog description

A thorough examination of the golf professional’s role in the phases of golf operations offered in Level 1 of the PGA Golf Management curriculum. The course may include but is not limited to customer relations, career enhancement, tournament operations, and the rules of golf. A heavy focus on tournament operations may include calligraphy, budgeting, organization, preparation, and Golf Genius Certification, as well as the information needed to use the Rules of Golf to form a committee, mark the course, and facilitate rulings. Prerequisite(s): PGM 100 .
