Catalog description

This course focuses on health policy and issues that affect consumers of health care and nursing practice within the community. The course examines socioeconomic, environmental, epidemiological, and legislative influences; ethical/legal issues; and the impact of health beliefs and practices on health promotion and protection in communities and society.
