Nursing Practice of Women and Children

Catalog description

This course focuses on health care needs of women across the lifespan, with a focus on childbirth and children as unique individuals within the childbearing family. The emphasis is on the role of the nurse in health promotion, positive parenting and advocacy for vulnerable clients.
