This foundational course introduces undergraduate nursing students to the essential knowledge, skills, and habits needed for success in nursing school and professional practice. Students will build a working understanding of medical terminology, common medical abbreviations, and basic dosage calculations used in clinical settings. The course emphasizes effective study strategies tailored to nursing education, including approaches to NCLEX-style questions and critical thinking development.
