Catalog description

-3) An upper-level student in good standing may work on a research project in mathematics under the direction and supervision of a mathematics faculty member. The project topic will be mutually agreed upon by the student and faculty member before the course begins. Prerequisite(s): Dependent upon the nature of the project and are based upon the discretion of the instructor. It is recommended that such projects be initiated in the fall semester.
