This course introduces students to the concept of energy transformation and transfer through an understanding of the thermodynamic properties of fluids and the First and Second Law of Thermodynamics. Systems, control volumes, basic power cycles, and combustion are introduced. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or higher in each of MATH 224 , PHYS 251 , ENGR 121
