Catalog description

A study of the genre of poetry, including the lyric, narrative, and descriptive purposes, emphasizing the technical aspects of poetry (the elements of poetry). Focuses on textual analysis and recognition of the changing forms over time, as well as national contributions to different styles and types of writing. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 300
