Catalog description

The course introduces the actuators, sensors, and control drives used in the design of electromechanical (EM) systems. It explores the modeling, analysis, and implementation of EM devices. It also explores the practical issues encountered with the integration of sensors, actuators, and control strategies. Prerequisite(s): Complete one of the following with a C or better: MECH 440 , ELEC 425 , or CHPH 440
