Teaching Writing Across the Curriculum

Catalog description

The focus on this course is to assist prospective teacher candidates in refining written and oral communication skills as well as to apply and analyze methodologies of Learning to Write as well as Writing to Learn. Writing assessment will be covered as it relates to the standards put forth by the State of North Carolina. Required for K-6 and Middle Grades Language Arts majors. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 221.
