Catalog description

This course is designed for prospective elementary and special education teachers. This course focuses on essential mathematics content knowledge for elementary education. The focus of this course is for students to gain a conceptual understanding of Operations with Whole Numbers, Place Value, Fractions, Ratios, Early Equations and Expressions, Measurement, and Geometry. Prerequisite(s): General College Curriculum Math Requirement Met (6 Hrs of Math) When Offered: Fall
