A historical survey of theology and philosophy from the time of the Reformation to the twentieth century. Attention is given to such names as Luther, Calvin, Wesley, Locke, Kant, Scheiermacher, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Harnack, Barth, and Bonhoeffer. Prerequisite(s): CHRS 221 or PHIL 121 .
