Catalog description

A course designed to develop planning and intervention skill for working with young children with and without special needs and their families. Emphasis placed on meeting individual needs in natural environments, and including young children with special needs in programs for children who are typically developing. Early intervention skills and strategies for working with children and families are examined and implemented. Field Experience in early intervention is required. Prerequisite(s): BKED 240, BKED 250.
