Genetics

Catalog description

Lectures will include the principles of Mendelian heredity, linkage, mutation, population genetics, and molecular genetics, with emphasis on the mechanisms regulating the processes of replication, transcription, and translation. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111 , BIOL 201 , CHEM 113 ; CHEM 227 recommended. When Offered: Spring semester. Lecture/Lab Three lecture and three laboratory hours each week.
