Catalog description

How cells interact to form tissue and how tissues work together to form organs. Special attention will be given to the way in which eukaryotic cells cooperate and specialize when forming multicellular organisms. The main emphasis in the laboratory will be analysis of fixed tissue slides. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111 Lecture/Lab The course will meet in two, 2 hour lab/lecture periods each week.
